Close to the old city, the hotel is on the bank of the river Meuse, a short walk from restaurants, bars and shops, and also the Casino. It has air-conditioned en suite rooms. Dinant is situated 14 miles south of Namur at the entrance to the Belgian Ardennes. Set in a green landscape alongside the river, its skyline is dominated by the famous Citadel of Dinant, perched on a cliff more than 100 metres above the Meuse. The 16th Century structure can be reached by car or cable car. However, the more energetic visitor can climb the 408 steps to the top for spectacular views of the town and countryside. Inside the fortress is a weapons museum. There is also a restaurant with a terrace, and a playground for children nearby.
